Alert Details:
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Most likely total snow accumulations
of 4 to 8 inches above 5000 feet with 1 to 2 feet above pass
level. Southwest winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas
County/Lassen Park above 5000 feet.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult above 5000 feet. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening
commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low confidence on exact timing and snow
amounts. Check back frequently for updates on the forecast.

Areas Affected: Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties
 
Alert Details:
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches with up to
8 inches along the highest peaks west of US Highway 395. Wind
gusts exceeding 70 mph on ridges.

* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties above 5500
feet and west of US Highway 395.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially across mountain
passes such as Fredonyer and northwest of Bogard. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Uncertainty in the storm track and snow
levels mean amounts could be higher, with a 25 percent probability
of up to 6 inches along CA Highway 44 and CA Highway 36, and up to
18 inches along the highest peaks.
