Wind gusts exceeding 100 mph on ridges. * WHERE...Mono County. * WHEN...From late Wednesday night through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Uncertainty in the storm track and snow levels mean amounts could be higher, with a 25 percent probability of up to 18 inches in communities along US Highway 395 and 3 feet along the Sierra crest.
