Alert Details:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following
county, northwestern Humboldt.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along
roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 235 AM PST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. This is
causing urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor
drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the
advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.8 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eureka, Arcata, Orick, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Trinidad,
McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Carlotta, Scotia,
Ferndale, Blue Lake, Myrtletown, Samoa, Cutten, Bayview,
Freshwater, Fairhaven, Pine Hills and Humboldt Hill.

cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.8 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Honeydew, Shelter Cove, Petrolia, Whitehorn, Ettersburg and
Briceland.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following
county, southeastern Humboldt.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1137 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain and persistent heavy rainfall rates up
to 0.5 inch per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in additional
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Arcata, Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Garberville,
Richardson Grove State Park, Bridgeville, Weott, Myers Flat,
Pepperwood, Dinsmore, Redway, Alderpoint, Maple Creek,
Richardson Grove, Shively, Miranda, Blocksburg, Fort Seward,
Bull Creek, Hydesville and Benbow.

indicated heavy rain and heavy rainfall rates up to 0.6 inch
per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in additional
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hoopa, Willow Creek, Orleans and Weitchpec.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following
areas, Coastal Del Norte, Del Norte Interior, Northern Humboldt
Coast, Northern Humboldt Interior, Southern Humboldt Interior and
Southwestern Humboldt.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides
along roadways. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Two to four inches of rain is expected to fall tonight and
has the potential to cause flooding of low-lying areas and
small streams may overflow their banks.
